194 Mr. Kenneally asked the Minister for Education if she will make funding available under the recreational and amenities grants scheme to a project (details supplied) in County Waterford towards the acquisition of security fencing; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [15976/95]

Minister for Education (Ms Bhreathnach):

My Department has received a detailed submission seeking grant assistance under the recreational facilities scheme towards the cost of providing security fencing at the project in question. A grant for this project is being considered at present in the context of the funds available.
