I propose to take Questions Nos. 49, 69 and 135 together.
The total cost of producing the video on the White Paper on Education was £27,402.90. This was in respect of 4,500 copies which are to be distributed to schools, colleges, universities and the various interest groups involved in the education process. Tenders were sought from six reputable companies with experience of producing videos of the type required and the contract was given to the lowest suitable tender having regard to the essential criteria of presentation, clarity, style, effectiveness, methodologies, involved in the production.
