Question:

30 Mr. Connolly asked the Minister for Justice whether Garda officers assigned to ministerial driving duties are instructed or are expected to report to their authorities on any surveillance being conducted on the Ministers to whom they are assigned. [16534/95]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that Garda officers assigned to ministerial driving duties are expected to report to their authorities, if they suspect or detect, any surveillance being conducted on the Ministers to whom they are assigned.
