There are preliminary proposals with my Department for swimming pool projects at Arklow, Bray and Wicklow Town. Wicklow County Council were requested by my Department on 6 September last to prepare a feasibility study of all three proposals in order to determine the most suitable location for a grant-aided pool in the context of the needs of the county as a whole. The council's report on the matter is awaited.
