81 Mr. H. Byrne asked the Minister for Education when replacement windows and door will be sanctioned and provided for Clongeen national school, County Wexford; and if she will make a statement regarding the delay in providing this sanction. [16976/95]
The school's request for new windows and door was referred to the Office of Public Works District Office for report and recommendation. I understand that the Office of Public Works visited the school recently and will report to my Department on the works needed. As soon as this report is received, a decision will be conveyed to the school quickly.
The delay in dealing with the case is due to the very heavy workload in the Office of Public Works district office.
