122 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education if she will respond to a request from a national school (details supplied) in Dublin 1, which is being part grant-aided by the NRB and which requires £6,500, in view of the fact that the school serves a most disadvantaged area, the principal has been diagnosed with MS, and another teacher is confined to a wheelchair and both need a stair-lift for access to classrooms. My Department has agreed to grant aid the provision of a stair-lift at the school to which the Deputy refers. I have arranged for my Department's professional advisers to give the school authorities the necessary advice to have the works carried out.
