Question:141 Mr. O'Leary asked the Minister for Education when work will commence on the construction of the proposed new primary school in Tulloha, Bonane, County Kerry, which is in the parish of Glengarriff. [17371/95]

My Department has agreed in principle to provide a new school at Tulloha. The chairperson was informed of this decision in a letter dated 15 June, 1995. This project will be considered for inclusion in my Department's next capital building programme in the light of other commitments and priorities. At this stage, I cannot give a realistic timescale as to when the work will commence.
