158 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Social Welfare the estimated income of a long-term unemployed married person with three, four, five or six children when account is taken of all allowances, including secondary benefits such as a medical card; and the costs of local authority differential rent and work-seeking. [18101/95]

Notes:
The rate of unemployment assistance comprises the personal rate, the adult dependant rate, and child dependant allowances for the relevant number of children.
Secondary benefits include medical card, free fuel allowance, smokeless fuel allowance, Christmas bonus, back to school clothing and footwear allowance and butter vouchers.
Local authority rent is based on the Dublin Corporation rent scheme.
There are no work seeking costs included as these can vary depending on circumstances and location.
