The opening hours at my Department's office at Kilrush Road, Ennis, County Clare during the month of November 1995 were as follows: 1 November to 17 November 1995, 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.; 20 November to 30 November 1995, 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
I very much regret the curtailment of the opening hours since 20 November 1995. This arises because of industrial action by members of the Civil and Public Services Union. My Department has asked the union to call off this action and will endeavour to ensure the optimum service to the public.
