120 Mr. M. Kitt asked the Minister for the Environment the current position on contract documents from Galway County Council in relation to the Loughrea sewerage scheme; when he will approve the scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18212/95]

Contract documents for this proposed scheme are under examination in my Department. Having regard to the level of commitments under the water and sewerage programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to approve them.
