Vol. 459 No. 4

Written Answers. - Report of Second Commission on the Status of Women.

Máirín Quill

Question:

18 Miss Quill asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform when the second report of the monitoring committee on the implementation of the recommendations of the Second Commission on the Status of Women will be published; the number of times the committee has met; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18225/95]

The monitoring committee has met on three occasions. I hope to publish the committee's second progress report on the implementation of the recommendations of the Second Commission on the Status of Women in about a month. This report will give the position on each recommendation as requested by members of the Joint Committee on Women's Rights at the meeting of the committee which I attended on 18 May.
