135 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Education the changes, if any, she envisages in the current intake policy for education colleges in view of the fact that only those of a Roman Catholic or Protestant denomination are currently admitted. [18800/95]

The colleges of education are under denominational management but I understand that not all the colleges require students to conform to a particular religious belief.

I have no immediate plans in relation to intake policy in this area but I will be keeping the matter under review.
