The legislative measures enacted in the period from 1992 to date on foot of Bills introduced by the Minister for the Marine are as follows:
Merchant Shipping Act, 1992 (No. 2 of 1992)
Fishery Harbour Centres (Amendment) Act, 1992 (No. 10 of 1992)
Foreshore (Amendment) Act, 1992 (No. 17 of 1992)
Merchant Shipping (Salvage and Wreck) Act, 1993 (No. 34 of 1993)
Irish Shipping Ltd. (Payments to Former Employees) Act, 1994 (No. 10 of 1994)
Dún Laoghaire Harbour Act, 1994 (No. 19 of 1994)
Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1994 (No. 23 of 1994)
Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1995 (No. 27 of 1995)
Two further Bills are currently before the Oireachtas, viz the Harbours Bill, 1995, and the Dumping at Sea Bill, 1995.
