105 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education if favourable consideration will be given to increasing the level of grants under the major sports capital programme to Kilkenny County GAA Board in respect of the Nowlan Park development where the cost of the development will be significantly higher than anticipated. In May 1994 a grant of £200,000 was allocated to Kilkenny County GAA Board under the major sports facilities programme in respect of the development of Nowlan Park in Kilkenny.

My Department has no application from the county board in respect of additional grant assistance for the project.
