Question:108 Mr. O'Donoghue asked the Minister for Education when the construction of a new national school at Tulloma, Bonane, Kenmare, County Kerry, will commence; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [2703/96]

I am not yet in a position to allow the project at Tulloha N.S. to proceed to construction. My Department is currently reviewing all of its financial commitments for 1996. On completion of that review, I will be able to assess whether the project can be accommodated within the financial allocation available for this year.
My Department will be in touch with the school as soon as possible in the matter.
