83 Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for Health whether he has ever issued a letter or letters to a doctor (details supplied) in County Meath or to any other doctor instructing them that they are not required to treat diabetic patients on medical cards at weekends. [3032/96]

Limerick East): No such letter or letters have been issued by me or my Department. I also understand that no such letter or letters have been issued by the North-Eastern Health Board.
