Vol. 461 No. 7

Written Answers. - Overdue Grant-Aid.

Paul Bradford

Question:

191 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Education the total amount of grant aid due to a school (details supplied) in County Cork; if her attention has been drawn to the fact that some of this money is due for many years; when the money will be paid; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [3604/96]

Grant-aid amounting to £3,131 is due to the school in question. Arrangements are being made to have this money paid to the school shortly.

I accept that there has been delay in finalising the payments due to the school. This is because of a very heavy workload in the Office of Public Works, Cork.
