Question:

113 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Education the current position regarding the application from Saint Joseph's Junior national school, Balcurris Road, Ballymun, Dublin 11, for assistance towards the repair and replacement of window frames, the replacement of outside timbers and roof repairs; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [4049/96]

My Department has received an application from St. Joseph's national school, Ballymun, for grant assistance towards the cost of major repair works. In the light of substantial sums spent on the building over the past ten years, my Department's architects will shortly be carrying out a full inspection of the school. When this inspection has been completed, my Department will be in touch with the school authorities.
