183 Miss Harney asked the Minister for Justice when a decision will be made regarding the application for naturalisation of persons (details supplied) whose parents are Irish citizens; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [4180/96]
The applications of the persons detailed by the Deputy were made in mid-September 1995 and are currently under consideration in my Department. Some standard inquiries related to the applications are currently being carried out and when these are completed, the applications will be submitted to me for a decision.
As soon as full consideration has been given to this case, I will advise both the applicants and the Deputy of my decision.
