61 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Taoiseach the standard procedures operated when his office or the office of the Minister(s) of State at his Department receives an anonymous letter; and if he has satisfied himself with the procedures that currently operate. [4090/96]

Anonymous letters received by my office are read and further action, if any, in relation to a specific letter would depend on its nature and content. Similar arrangements apply in respect of the offices of the Ministers of State at my Department.
