Question:83 Mr. Doherty asked the Minister for Justice when she intends to replace the garda who has recently retired from Cootehall Garda station in the Garda district of Boyle, County Roscommon. [4600/96]
Written Answers. - Garda Replacement.
The Garda authorities are responsible for the detailed allocation of personnel and resources to individual areas. I am informed by them that the garda attached to Cootehall Garda station retired on 6 January 1996 and I understand that arrangements are being made to fill the vacancy as soon as possible. In the meantime the area is being policed by the gardaí at Boyle.
