21 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment if he will assist local voluntary groups in Dungarvan, Cappoquin and Lismore, County Waterford in setting up enterprise schemes along the lines of the one already established in Tallow, County Waterford. [4552/96]

The Deputy will appreciate that the question of assistance to local voluntary groups in setting up enterprise schemes is not one in which I have any direct function.

I understand, however, that the Waterford County Enterprise Board would be willing to consider assisting the groups concerned and they might wish to make contact with the board at Cross Bridge Street, Dungarvan, telephone No. 058-44811; Fax [phone], to explore the possibilities of assistance in the setting up of enterprise schemes. Indeed, I understand that the Cappoquin group has already made such contact.
