98 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the total amount of State and EU funds that have been provided by his Department or under the aegis of his Department for development of the agriculture, food and forestry industries in 1995; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Total funding provided by the EU and my Department in 1995 for the development of the agriculture, food and forestry industries amounted to some £1,600 million. These figures exclude the administrative cost of services operated by my Department.
