Vol. 462 No. 5

Written Answers. - Revenue Commissioners Decentralisation.

Dermot Ahern

Question:

77 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Finance the current position regarding the proposal for decentralisation to Dundalk, County Louth; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4865/96]

A total of 88 staff of the Revenue Commissioners have already decentralised to Dundalk and are in temporary accommodation on the Newry Road. Continuing efforts are being make to secure the completion of the Dundalk decentralisation and it is hoped that the matter will be brought to a resolution in the near future.
