The total expenditure on computer technology in 1995 in my Department, including hardware, software and consumables amounted to £2.240 million. The amounts paid to the five main hardware suppliers were: Dell — £566,900; OKI — £128,091; PCP — £107,543; ICL — £80,281 and Digital — £68,788.
