85 Mr. S. Kenny asked the Minister for the Environment if his Department has approved all of the necessary stages and procedures to allow phase two of the Baldoyle flood relief to commence; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5351/96]

My Department has approved Fingal County Council's proposal to carry out site investigations and a sewer survey to advance the planning of this scheme. The council's further proposals are awaited.
