214 Mr. Hughes asked the Minister for the Environment the total cost of consulting fees and all other costs incurred and the total liability in respect of lands acquired by compulsory purchase order in connection with the Westport water augmentation scheme, County Mayo. [6617/96]

Planning costs to date, including consulting engineers' fees and land and way-leave acquisition, are estimated at some £1.2 million. The cost of lands acquired by way of compulsory purchase amounts to £55,535.
