216 Miss Quill asked the Minister for the Environment when his Department will provide funding for the Blarney water supply augmentation scheme, County Cork, under the water and sewerage services capital works programme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6648/96]

Contract documents for this scheme are with my Department. Given the high level of commitments under the water and sewerage programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to approve them.
