Vol. 463 No. 4

Written Answers. - Dog Licences.

Ned O'Keeffe

Question:

129 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Justice if she will approve an anti-crime measure whereby a concessionary dog licence is issued to old age pensioners, which would allow the elderly to keep dogs which would guard their homes and help prevent further attacks. [6754/96]

I have no function with regard to the issue of dog licences and, accordingly, I regret that I cannot be of assistance in this matter.
