Vol. 463 No. 8

Written Answers. - Public Access to Department.

Eoin Ryan

Question:

113 Mr. E. Ryan asked the Minister for Education further to Parliamentary Question No. 226 of 26 March 1996, the plans, if any, she has to provide for public access to her Department on a regular basis in view of the historic buildings and interiors under the control of her Department and her existing policy of facilitating persons who wish to view these buildings; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [7370/96]

I have no plans to provide for public access to my Department on a regular basis for the reason outlined in my earlier reply that is, the buildings are used for office accommodation for my Department's staff.
