136 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the division of funding allocated between the symbol inspectorates of the Organic Trust, Irish Organic Farmers and Growers Association and Demeter Biodynamic. [7901/96]
Funding is allocated by my Department to the Organic Trust Ltd., Irish Organic Farmers' and Growers' Association Ltd., and Demeter Standards Ltd., for inspections carried out in accordance with Council Regulation (EEC) No. 2092/91. The level of funding is based on the number of inspections carried out by each of the three bodies.
