108 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Social Welfare the total number registered for social welfare purposes in the towns of Kinsale, Bandon, Clonakilty, Dunmanway, Skibbereen, Bantry and Castletownbere, in County Cork, as at 1 April 1995 and 1 April 1996; and the average total monthly payment in respect of each of these towns. The question is being taken to relate to unemployed people registered at the Department's offices in the towns mentioned. Information is not available in respect of 1 April 1996; the latest available information relates to 1 March 1996. This is presented in the following table, along with the equivalent information in relation to 1 April 1995 where available.

For security reasons it is not possible to give payment details for these towns.
