Vol. 464 No. 4

Written Answers. - Cattle Identity Cards.

Ned O'Keeffe

Question:

116 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will have arrangements made for cattle cards to issue without further delay to a person (details supplied) in County Cork in view of the fact that he is waiting to sell his animals and is unable to obtain the cards; and if his attention has been drawn to the hardship being caused to this person. [8325/96]

Owing to industrial action by members of the Civil and Public Services Union, cattle identity cards are currently not being issued.
