Question:

75 Miss Coughlan asked the Minister for Health the plans, if any, he has to have BUPA Hospital, Manchester, England, registered by his Department in order that patients will be eligible for a tax allowance similar to arrangements with Bourne Hill and Cambridge for fertility treatment. [8390/96]

, Limerick East): An application to have Manchester Fertility Services Ltd., Manchester BUPA Hospital, Russell House, Russell Road, Whalley Range, Manchester registered with the Revenue Commissioners for the purpose of income tax relief for medical expenses under Section 12 of the Finance Act, 1967, is currently being examined in my Department.
