Vol. 464 No. 4

Written Answers. - Dublin 16 Site.

Liz O'Donnell

Question:

95 Ms O'Donnell asked the Minister for Education the plans, if any, she has to erect a permanent barrier between the Department's land and an estate (details supplied) in Dublin 16 in view of the nuisance being experienced by the residents of this estate; the plans, if any, she has to meet the local authority concerned. [8352/96]

In view of my recent decision, based on independent advice, not to proceed with the building of a post-primary school on the site in question, my Department is at present considering the disposal of the site.

In the meantime, I will have the issue raised by the Deputy examined in my Department.
