Byrne asked the Minister for Education the stage of preparation of proposals to upgrade Kilmuckridge Vocational College, Gorey, County Wexford; and if all the necessary steps have been taken within her Department's building branch to facilitate County Wexford vocational education committee in seeking tenders for this work before the end of 1996. An application for the provision of additional accommodation at Kilmuckridge Vocational School has been submitted to my Department by County Wexford Vocational Education Committee.
A schedule of overall accommodation at the school in question has been proposed by my Department.
The question of seeking tenders will not arise for some time as this project is at a very early stage of the planning process.
