Vol. 465 No. 2

Written Answers. - Ardmore (Waterford) Sewerage Scheme.

Austin Deasy

Question:

28 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for the Environment if he will sanction funding for a study of the provision of a new sewerage scheme for the seaside resort of Ardmore in County Waterford; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9311/96]

Waterford County Council has recently submitted a report outlining the case for a study for a sewerage scheme in Ardmore. However, due to the level of existing commitments and the number of high priority schemes for which funding must be provided, it was not possible to include these proposals in the current years's work programme. I will review the position further when determining the programme for next year.
