I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that a refund in the amount of £2,356.91 has recently issued in this case.

Question:93 Mr. Browne (Wexford) asked the Minister for Finance when a refund of tax will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford. [9878/96]
I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that they have not received an application for a repayment of tax from the taxpayer. The necessary documentation to deal with a review of his tax affairs has now been requested from the taxpayer by the inspector of taxes. Following receipt of the necessary information, any refund arising will be dealt with as soon as possible.
