165 Mr. Briscoe asked the Minister for the Environment the plans, if any, he has to issue a standardised registration form for use by local authorities in compiling the public register under the Housing (Registration of Rented Houses) Regulations, 1996; the further plans, if any, he has to limit the registration form to include only information that will be contained on the public register; and if he will make a statement on the matter. A sample application form for use in connection with the registration of rented houses under the Housing (Registration of Rented Houses) Regulations, 1996 was issued to each housing authority with my Department's circular letter HRT 1/96 of 16 February 1996. This form provides for the furnishing of all information required under the regulations, including information which is not for publication in the register. I have no proposals to revise this form.
