Vol. 465 No. 6

Order of Business (Resumed).

I will hear Deputy Martin's point of order now, before I move on to item No. 5.

I wanted to raise a point on the Order of Business, which I am entitled to do.

That is a matter for the Chair to decide.

It is a matter of Standing Order in relation to proposed legislation. I wanted to ask the Taoiseach, given the revelations in yesterday's copy of The Irish Times to update me on when the education Bill will be published and made available to Members of this House. We are the last people to know anything about it.

I thought the Chair had passed on to the next business.

I have decided to take that question. If it is a question of promised legislation, I would appreciate a reply.

I am bound by the rules of the Chair, as is the Deputy, although I pay more respect to them than does the Deputy. The Education (Boards of Management) Bill will be available shortly.
