Question:

100 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Finance the total cost to his Department of consultancies carried out in 1995; if he will give a breakdown of this cost; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10299/96]

The total cost paid in 1995 in respect of consultancies carried out for the Department was £1,382,749.80. This includes consultancies commenced in 1994 and others which continued into this year. The cost of these consultancies is broken down as follows:-
