61 Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Finance the request, if any, that has been received from Coiste Forbartha an Mhama for a meeting with the Minister of State at the Office of Public Works; if so, when such a meeting will take place; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10894/96]
I have indeed received a request from Coiste Forbartha an Mháma for a meeting about the future disposal of Maam Garda station. I wrote to the coiste on 5 March 1996 giving them some detailed information sought by them and offering to meet with them. My office was in touch with the coiste subsequently about a suitable date and I am awaiting a response. My private secretary will contact the coiste again this week.
