Written Answers. - Government Publications Sales.

Hugh Byrne

Question:

67 Mr. H. Byrne asked the Minister for Finance if he will give details of all titles that were put on sale in the Government Publications Office since I December 1995; and the retail price of each title. [10765/96]

The Government Supplies Agency has responsibility for the publication, marketing and distribution of Government Publications together with being agents in Ireland for the distribution and marketing of publications for the following bodies:

The World Bank

World Customs Organisation

Council of Europe (COE)

European Union (EU)

Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD)

Food and Agricultural Organisation of the United Nations (FAO)

World Trade Organisation (WTO)

International Labour Office (ILO)

Office des Epizooties (OEI)

United Nations

The Government Supplies Agency has a retail outlet at Molesworth Street and a mail order division at 4/5 Harcourt Road. I have arranged for a list of all the publications by category put on sale since 1 December 1995 together with the retail prices to be made available to the Deputy. A similar list will be placed in the Dáil library.
