Written Answers. - Speech and Language Therapists' Pay.

Ben Briscoe

Question:

86 Mr. Briscoe asked the Minister for Health the implications, if any, for Ireland of a ruling of the European Court of Justice giving comparable rates of pay to speech and language therapists with other graduate health professionals in the United Kingdom; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10794/96]

Limerick East): I am having the European Court of Justice judgement referred to by the Deputy examined in consultation with the office of the Attorney General in relation to whether it raises any implications for speech and language therapists in this country.
