Limerick East): I am informed by the North Eastern Health Board that there are currently 48 people with physical disabilities or mental handicap receiving full-time residential care in County Meath.
73 Miss M. Wallace asked the Minister for Health the names of all groups in County Meath which have received grants from his Department in respect of services for people with disabilities; and the amount of each grant. [11834/96]
Limerick East): Responsibility for the provision of funding to voluntary organisations rests with the relevant health board. The amount of funding provided in 1996 to voluntary organisations in County Meath providing services for people with mental handicap or physical or sensory disabilities by the North-Eastern Health Board is set out in the table below. The board also provides funding to organisations based outside of County Meath which provide services to people from County Meath.
