Vol. 466 No. 6

Written Answers. - Former Monaghan Garda Station.

Rory O'Hanlon

Question:

39 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Finance the plans, if any, he has for the former Garda station in Monaghan town; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12122/96]

The former Garda station in Monaghan is to be refurbished as offices for Government services located in the town. The necessary accommodation briefs have been received and the proposed layouts of the premises are with the Departments concerned for their approval. It is expected that the refurbishment works will commence in the autumn with the building being ready for occupation in early 1997.
