145 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice the reason Ronanstown gardaí did not act on the information given to them by a person (details supplied) in Dublin 22 whose house was attacked and vandalised on 5 June 1996 and on a number of occasions in the past. [12259/96]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that the person referred to by the Deputy reported the incident of 5 June to the Garda on the following day, 6 June. The report was duly recorded. The Garda authorities assure me that they have taken appropriate action on foot of the complaint.
