221 Mr. B. Smith asked the Minister for Education the specific allocation made to each voluntary organisation and statutory body under the 1996 youth services budget. [12587/96]

An initial allocation of youth service funds was announced to voluntary agencies and statutory bodies in late May for the maintenance of existing youth services. Proposals submitted in relation to the provision of additional services are currently under consideration within the context of resources available in 1996.

The following are the initial allocations notified to both statutory and voluntary bodies:
