325 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for the Marine the total tonnage through Dublin Port in 1995; the estimated tonnage in respect of 1996; whether such figures compare accurately to the projections of the Dublin Transport Initiative; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12809/96]

The total tonnage through Dublin Port for 1995 was 11.9 million tonnes.

The estimated tonnage for 1996 is 13.0 million tonnes.

It is my understanding that the report of the Dublin Transport Initiative made no projection in respect of tonnages through Dublin Port.
