Question:9 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will give an age profile of the animals in the BSE infected herds whose brains have been analysed for BSE. [13768/96]
Written Answers. - BSE Infected Herds.
The brains of 450 animals have been tested, to date, in herds in which a case of BSE has been confirmed. The animals have ranged in age from two to 14 years. All the tests have given negative results.
